1. Sponsor. Shabbos Away, 70 Tennyson Pl #1, Passaic, NJ 07055 (the Sponsor). The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, WhatsApp, Meta, Telegram, Apple or Google.
2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate families and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Promotion period. Begins 2026-10-19 and ends 2026-12-31 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Entries received outside the period are not counted.
4. How to enter. (a) Sign up for Shabbos Away deal alerts with an email address or WhatsApp number and confirm: 1 entry. (b) Share your personal link; each friend who signs up through it and confirms during the period: 5 entries, up to 50 referred friends. Referred friends must be new, real people who did not already subscribe; duplicate, fraudulent or automated sign-ups are disqualified. (c) Free alternate entry: send a postcard with your name, address, email and the words ‘Share to win Shabbos in Florida’ to the Sponsor at the address above, received during the period, for 1 entry per postcard, limit one per household per day. All methods of entry have the same chance per entry.
5. Prize. One (1) winner receives: A Shabbos getaway for two in Florida: round-trip flights from the New York area, three nights at a hotel on the beach in walking distance of a shul, Shabbos meals arranged with the local Chabad House, and a Terebelo Distillery gift basket. Approximate retail value (ARV): $2,500. Travel dates subject to availability, booked by the Sponsor, and arranged so that no travel takes place on Shabbos or Yom Tov. The winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary within 12 months of the drawing, hold valid identification, and are responsible for all taxes, ground transportation not listed, incidentals and anything not expressly described. No cash substitution except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion; the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6. Winner selection and notification. One potential winner is selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries within seven days after the period ends. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries. The potential winner is notified by email or WhatsApp and must respond within five days and sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within ten days, or the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn.
7. General conditions. By entering you agree to these rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final. The Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify the promotion if fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond its control impairs its integrity, and may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process. Prize winnings of $600 or more are reported on IRS Form 1099. Except where prohibited, entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s first name, city and state for announcing the result without further compensation.
8. Privacy. Information submitted is used to run the promotion and, with consent, to send Shabbos Away alerts, under the Privacy Policy. Unsubscribing from alerts does not cancel an entry already received.
9. Disputes. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute is resolved individually, without resort to any class action, in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
