NYC to Orlando for $129 Round Trip on Frontier
The deal
Frontier is offering a nonstop round trip from LaGuardia to Orlando (MCO) for $129, returning from MCO to Newark. At under $130, this is one of the sharper New York to Florida prices we have seen this season. The great-line threshold is $150, and this comes in $21 below that. A week in Orlando during early December, including Shabbos, for under $130 a person is a legitimate deal.
How to book
Book through Aviasales, which routes you to Frontier. Note that Frontier’s base fare does not include a carry-on bag or seat selection; both cost extra. Factor those in when you budget. Fares at this level sell out without warning, so book today if the dates work for your family.
Shabbos fit
The outbound leg is Wednesday December 9 and the return is Wednesday December 16. No travel on Shabbos. Shabbos December 12 lands in the middle of the trip in Orlando. Orlando has kosher restaurants and Chabad services; the area near International Drive has the highest concentration of options. Chanukah starts the evening of December 14, so you could light in Florida before flying home.
